ACuPowder named Business of the Month 
Edul M. Daver believes that America is a great country with tremendous opportunities, if you are willing to work hard. After spending more than three decades in the metal powder industry, he is realizing that dream as president of ACuPowder International, LLC, located in the township of Union. Daver typifies the American success story. He immigrated to the United States from India more than 35 years ago to obtain his master's degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. Since that time, he also obtained a master's degree in buisness administration from Farleigh Dickenson University. He then began the steady climb up the corporate ladder of success in the metal powder industry by working for Alcan Powders & Pigments in positions ranging from production and plant manager in Union to operations manager, then finally up to president in 1988. Daver, along with several employees, then offered to buy Alcan Powders & Pigments and finally sealed the deal in 1995, renaming the company ACuPowder International, LLC. The company begain as the Metals Disintegrating Company back in 1916 in Union. ACuPowder International, LLC has been a solid corporate citizen in the Union community for more than 80 years. They strongly believe in the fundamental responsibility and committment to protect and nuture their employees and its environment. They have made many contributions to the township of Union, namely donating the land which is now the Little League field on Lehigh Avenue and also to numerous civic associations. ACuPowder International, LLC and the township of Union are looking forward to another 80 years of success. |
